NANCY GARDNER VICK OWEN

Mrs. Nancy Vick Owen, 35, died Wednesday.  She was a resident of Courtland, 
a graduate of William & Mary, a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority, a public 
school teacher in Isle of Wight Co., a member of the Sedley Women Club, and 
the Sedley Baptist Church.  She was the daughter of Mrs. Dorothy Boothe Vick 
of Courtland, and the late George B. Vick, Jr.  She is survived by her 
husband, B. Harold Owen; two sons, George V. Owen and Grayson H. Owen, all 
of Courtland; three aunts, Mrs. Lucy B. Whitehead of Courtland, Mrs. J.T. 
Hancock, of Ivor and Miss Marcia Vick, of Courtland.  Funeral service will 
be held Saturday at 11 A.M. in the Riverside Cemetery in Courtland.  The 
remains rest at the Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield.  In lieu of flowers 
the family suggest donations to the American Cancer Society or the Sedley 
Baptist Church
